Inside and out
Buccal facial massage
A facial massage that works not only from the outside but also from inside the cheeks, reaching muscles an ordinary facial massage cannot.
What is buccal massage?
Buccal massage (from the Latin bucca, cheek) works on the facial muscles both from the outside and from inside the mouth. I always wear medical gloves and use sterile materials.
From the inside I can reach the masseter and cheek muscles. This is where tension builds up when we clench our teeth under stress, concentrate hard or sleep badly. Tight muscles make the face look heavier and the expression tense.
When these muscles relax and puffiness goes down, the face looks more defined: clearer cheekbones and jawline, and a rested look. As with sculpting facial massage, this comes from relaxation and drainage, not from lifting the skin. The effect is temporary and lasts longer with a course of sessions.
What you will feel and see
- Deep relaxation of the jaw and chewing muscles
- Less puffiness in the cheeks and lower face
- A more defined jawline and cheekbones
- A softer, calmer expression
- A lightness that is hard to get from an ordinary facial massage

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
It can feel intense, especially if the muscles are very tight, but it should not hurt. We agree the pressure together and you can ask for gentler work at any time.
How many sessions do I need?
You will notice a difference after the first session. For a longer-lasting result, a course of 5–10 sessions a few days apart is usual.
How is it different from sculpting facial massage?
Sculpting facial massage works only from the outside. Buccal massage adds work from inside, so it relaxes the jaw muscles more deeply. The two can be alternated.
Is it hygienic?
Yes. I wear single-use medical gloves and everything used is sterile.
