Dobayukivanie: inner child work
A practice for adults where you can feel like a baby again — safe, accepted and loved — and let go of what is getting in the way now.

What is dobayukivanie?
Dobayukivanie (roughly “rocking to sleep again”) is a process of healing the child and mother aspect and of re-living your birth. It covers the time in the womb, the birth itself, coming into the world and the first contact with your mother.
This is usually where our “glitches” come from — difficult experiences received while still in the womb or during birth. Few of us can say we had a natural birth, and the same goes for the first contact: it did not always happen, and it was not always harmonious.
In dobayukivanie we create conditions in which the body remembers this experience: you are gently rocked, wrapped up, with calm sounds around you. These are memories that are not in our conscious mind — they lie very deep, and one way to become aware of them is through the body. Because the body holds all our feelings, all our fears, all our experience since conception.
We re-live this experience in order to leave it in the past and create a new one — to reprogramme the core patterns of our life. It is a practice of restoring basic trust in the world. Everyone’s experience is different: some cry, some fall asleep, some truly rest for the first time in a long while.
How a session works
- 1
Initial conversation
We talk about your request, expectations and how you feel. If the practice is not right for you now, I will tell you.
- 2
Immersion
You are in a safe space: rocking, swaddling, silence or calm sounds. You can stop at any moment.
- 3
Coming back
We gently leave the state and you have time to come back to yourself.
- 4
Tea ceremony and conversation
The most important part: I help you make sense of the experience so the new understanding stays with you.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long is a session?
With the conversation before and after, about three hours. Plan your day so you do not have to rush afterwards.
Is it safe?
The practice is gentle, you stay in contact with me and can stop at any time. If you have a serious mental or physical health condition, please talk to your doctor first.
Why is there a conversation afterwards?
People often have an experience they have never had before. It matters to have someone to share it with. That is why every session ends with a tea ceremony.
Is the session available in English?
With an interpreter, yes. Sessions are held in Russian and Ukrainian, and in English or Spanish with an interpreter.
